Loch Ness Monster |
Since the initial "encounter"
with St Columba was detailed, there had been few recorded occurrences
of the Loch Ness Monster until the 1930's - when various credible
witnesses reported strange disturbances in the waters of the Loch,
or said they encountered a strange creature rising and moving
through the Loch.
Since then people have been obsessed with finding the truth behind
the creature said to lurk in the waters of Loch Ness.
There are dozens of theories as to what the creature could be
- anything from a family of Plesiosaur to a Giant Squid or Sturgeon
fish!
Despite hundreds of expeditions and searchers, no one exploring
the waters of the Loch have found anything to prove (or disprove)
existence of an unusual creature in Loch Ness.
