A far less savoury character that once inhabited
the shores of Loch Ness was the self-proclaimed "Great Beast"
Alestair Crowley - who owned and lived in Boleskin House for several
years in the early 20th Century.
Crowley was an active and open participant in Satanism & the
Occult and there were many rumours about the dark deeds said to
be taking place in the otherwise unassuming house overlooking
the waters of Loch Ness. |
There were even rumours of a secret
tunnel linking Boleskin house to a nearby graveyard close to the
waters of Loch Ness where it was rumoured he would perform satanic
rites and ceremonies under cover of darkness.
Nowadays Boleskin House is still said to carry with it the taint
of Crowley's obsession with the waters of Loch Ness. |
